Electrophysiology Tech

Location

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Contract

13 weeks
Travel/contract assignment

Schedule

Day shift
5x8 hours
6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
40 hours per week
Weekend coverage every other weekend
Call required up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend with weekday call rotation
Must live and respond within 30 minutes for call

Required Qualifications

Electrophysiology Technician with 2 years of experience
Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT(R)
Proficiency in embolization procedures
Proficiency in coiling procedures
Proficiency in ablation procedures
Proficiency in implant procedures (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
Experience with Impella devices
Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) devices
Experience with IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) devices
Experience with Shockwave devices
Experience with Rotoblator devices
Experience with laser devices

Required Experience / Skills

Experience with embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants such as ports, pacemakers, and ICDs
Experience with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
Experience in STEMI care with focus on FTB/DTB under 60 minutes
Ability to perform peripheral and EP procedures
Ability to work independently in all CCL procedures

Fit testing required
Negative 10-panel drug screen required
TB screening required
Seasonal flu documentation required during flu season
