Overview

• Location: Fountain Valley, California
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: To inpatient units: MS/Tele/Oncology/ED (Tele refers to telemetry)
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Local candidates: If you live within 50 miles of the facility, notify the recruiter at submission
• Staffing: This ICU RN position backfills a previous clinician.
• Time off: Pre-approved time off is at the manager's discretion. Include requested time off at submission.
• Documentation system: EPIC (software familiarity only, not a credential)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding Requirements

• Training and modules:

  • HIPAA module (required before EPIC modules)
  • EPIC education module (required; completion certificate must be uploaded)
  • YouLearn modules (required; completion record must be uploaded)
  • Facility orientation documents, quizzes, and policy reviews (completed before start)
• Post-start: Performance evaluation from the facility's orientation packet (not needed for clearance)
