Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Unit is Medical Oncology
- Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units
- Weekends are variable based on unit needs
- No set/blocked scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience
- ONS Chemo
- Previous travel experience
Unit Details
- Goal staffing ratio is 1:4, with possibility of 1:5
- Cares for all solid tumor cancers across the cancer journey
- Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancer, plus encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy
- Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
- Cares for patients with med surg issues
