Clinical Research Coordinator

Specialty: Administrative Location: Santa Monica, California Employment Type: Travel/Contract, temporary to permanent Contract Length: 13 weeks Work Mode: Full-time, on-site in Santa Monica; hybrid possible if preferred

Schedule

• Day shift, 5x8 hours (8:00 to 17:00)
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Ideal candidate lives in Santa Monica, since the commute is substantial otherwise
• Commute preferred to be 30 minutes or less due to traffic in the area

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Research / Clinical Research experience (5 years)
• Research / Clinical Research experience within the last year
• Phlebotomy certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Experience Not Accepted

• Device management experience
• Bench trials experience
• Device trial experience
• Solely data trials experience

Software Familiarity (not credentials)

• EMR experience, which the source marks as a must-have
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel

Role Summary

• Supports investigators in conducting multiple clinical research trials under the research center's SOPs and applicable regulations
• Coordinates enrollment, study visits, and follow-up care for trial patients across various therapeutic areas
• Acts as liaison between the sponsor (monitor), regulatory agencies, patients, investigators, nurses, and other staff
• Serves as primary CRC for more complex protocols or patient populations
• Participates in internal and external quality audits
• Assists in training new research assistants and CRCs as needed
