LPN/LVN - Rehab
Location: Louisville, Kentucky Employment Type: Travel Specialty: Rehabilitation Contract Length: 8 weeks Hours: 36 per week Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (every weekend)
Role Overview
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 40 beds, focused on recovery from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Common diagnoses on the unit: amputee, stroke, hip and knee replacements
- Patient population: adults 18 years and older
- Unit: 14 or 12 beds, on 1 South or 2B
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
- LPN / LVN (1 year of experience)
- LPN / LVN experience within the last year
- Experience in a hospital setting

- Patient ratios: 1:7 RN, 1:10 LPN, 1:12 tech (CNA)
- On-site equipment: EKG machine and bladder scanner
