Dietician - Nutrition

Location: Jacksonville, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 12 weeks Hours: 40 per week

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday
1 Saturday per month
No night shifts
No call requirements

Unit and Assignment

Department: Dietitians
FTE 1: Covers 4 units (Med Surg, DOC, Oncology, and Post-Partum), 96 beds
FTE 2: Covers 3 units (Cardiovascular ICU and 2 Med Surg units), 87 beds
Staffing: 2 FTEs total
Estimated caseload: 10-15 patients per day per FTE

Typical Procedures

Unit screening
Nutrition assessment, intervention, and monitoring
Ordering and updating diets, tube feeds, parenteral nutrition, and oral nutrition supplement orders

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in Florida
RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) with 2 years of experience
RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) experience within the last year
Dietician certification
CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) credentialing
