Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday)

Unit Overview

• Cardiac Cath Lab with 7 holding beds
• Equipment includes GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation systems: MacLab, Meditech
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with STEMI call approximately 10-12 days per month
• Floating within Electrophysiology (EP) and Stress Lab departments
• Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital

Procedures Performed

• TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
• PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure
• Atherectomy
• PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
• Right and Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
• Impella and IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) support
• DCCV (Direct Current Cardioversion)
• TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience (2 years of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
• Structural Heart experience
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience
• Impella experience
• IFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio) experience
• FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve) experience
• PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) experience
• PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure experience
• Electrophysiology Lab experience
