CCU RN PM Shift

• Location: Long Beach, California

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (19:00 to 07:30), 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

• Time off: Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Pre-approved time off is at the manager's discretion and must be included at submission.
• First-time travelers: Accepted if experienced

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
• CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Cardiac patients

Other Certifications (requirement determined during qualification)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), AHA only
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• Technician certification verification, as applicable

Float Scope

May float to ICU, PCU, Tele, Med/Surg, and ED holding.

Onboarding and Health Requirements

• Training: HIPAA education (completed before the documentation system modules) and documentation system education modules, which take approximately 8 hours. Modules are completed from home on the Monday of start week and must be finished by the first in-person day, Tuesday. YouLearn modules are also required.
• Review-only policies: Drug and alcohol-free policy, hand hygiene, dress and appearance, discharge optimization, and care briefing
• Physical exam: Within 1 year of start, not required annually
• N95 fit mask: Within 1 year of start, renewed annually. Onsite fit testing is not offered; any N95 mask is accepted.
• Tdap: Within the last 10 years. May decline.
• TB: Negative QuantiFERON, T-SPOT, or 2-step PPD within 1 year of start, plus an annual TB questionnaire. Chest X-ray is required for positive results.
• Immunity titers: Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B surface antibody, and varicella. Vaccination or positive titer is required, with declinations accepted in certain cases (see source for details).
• Drug screen: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start. Instant screen accepted. Marijuana panel not included. California: urine marijuana/THC testing is prohibited. Saliva THC testing may be required, and both urine and saliva screens may apply.
• Flu vaccine: Required November 1 to April 30. May decline.
• COVID: Vaccination record preferred, not required.
• Badge photo: Not required for this facility.
