Assignment Overview

• Location: New Haven, Connecticut
• Contract length: 10 weeks, winter coverage only
• Must start by: 12/18/2026
• Facility type: Short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center, 1,567 total staffed beds
• Unit: RN Telemetry
• Shift: Day, 4x12 hours (7:00 to 19:00), 48 hours per week
• Ratios: Average 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights, 1:5 on weekends
• Local radius restrictions: Waived for this 10-week assignment

Schedule and Assignment Terms

• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• No holiday RTO
• No more than 5 days RTO
• Guaranteed hours: Yes
• On-call: Not required
• Float: Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule: Not accommodated

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (at least 2 CE hours)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred

• Initial series of COVID vaccines, if already received
