Role Overview

Travel/contract RN ICU (Neuro) in Roanoke, Virginia
Night shift: 3x12s, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
13-week contract
Patient ratio: 1:2
Floating: required within skillset

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Neuro ICU (1 year of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience with external ventricular drains (EVD)
Experience with neuro monitoring
Experience with lumbar drains
Experience with immediate post-operative care
Experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
Experience with the Arctic Sun temperature management system
Experience with therapeutic hypothermia
Experience with central line management
Experience with Epic
