Overview
- Travel/contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Weekends preferred
- Call required
- Floating required to multi-specialty and all surgeries
- First-time travelers accepted if they have strong transplant experience
- Indiana residents are not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Regulatory Charting for Transplants
- 2 years of strong transplant experience
- Kidney transplant experience
- Liver transplant experience
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Call expectation is 40–60 hours per 6-week period
Additional Notes
- Abdominal transplant cases include kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral transplants
- Pediatric transplants are not part of this assignment
- Cerner is used for charting
- Free parking is available
