Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in Texas
Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
Pharmacist experience within the last year
ACPE-Accredited Sterile Compounding Certification
IV Certification
Experience in a Hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications

Residency training
Board certification
HCA experience

Unit Details

About 30 staff members
Day shift staffing includes 4 decentralized pharmacists, 2-3 clinical specialists, 1-2 central pharmacists, and additional staff throughout the day
Night shift staffing includes 1 overnight pharmacist and 1 overnight technician
Equipment includes Pyxis, DoseEdge, and C2 Safe
EMR includes Meditech and Vigilanz
Typical procedures include order verification, processing missing medication requests, and sterile compounding

Schedule

Most pharmacists work every other weekend
Overnights are 7 on / 7 off, starting Wednesday nights, 2100-0800
