Overview

Travel/contract L&D RN in Seattle, Washington
Start date: 11/16
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
1:1 ratio
13-week contract
First-timers accepted
Locals accepted
Weekend work required
Floating within the hospital is required
No floating to sister hospitals
No call
No block schedule accommodation
RTO limit: 1 week max

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Unit / Clinical Details

Labor and Delivery
Childbearing women and newborn care: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn
High-risk Level 3 perinatal center
Level 4 NICU on site
Approximately 150 births per month
2 ORs on the unit for C-sections, BTLs, and PP D&Cs
A second L&D RN may serve as a “baby catcher” for well, non-compromised babies

Additional Notes

EPIC charting
Scrubs provided for OR personnel
Parking costs $10.26 daily
