Overview

Travel/Contract role in Augusta, Georgia
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
36 hours per week
12-week contract
Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses
38-bed unit with average daily census of 33
Patient population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
Ratio: 1:6
Locals accepted at the same rate
Floating: within facility/scope of practice as needed
Call: none
Weekends: every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
RTO maximum: 7 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles (1 year of experience)
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

All RN roles are expected to perform their own vital sign checks and blood glucose checks
One major holiday is expected if it falls during the assignment; if two major holidays fall during the assignment, both are expected; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, two are expected
