Job Details

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Scheduling options: 36- or 48-hour option; 13- or 26-week contract option

Required Qualifications

Active RN license; pending license accepted
BLS certification
2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
EPIC charting experience
First-time travelers are not accepted

Work Expectations

Must be prepared to float frequently and within scope to meet facility needs
Travelers are assigned to a unit based on experience and may be placed at a sister campus
Drips are required on all floors

Scheduling Requirements

Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Up to 2 weeks of requested time off is permitted

Additional Notes

Locals are not accepted; candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility
Facility is 100% nicotine free
Scrubs are required: Steele gray with logo
Parking is available for a monthly permit or daily rate
COVID vaccination is preferred; exemptions or declination are accepted
Flu vaccination documentation is preferred, not mandatory
Government-issued photo ID is required
2 work references from the past 2 years are required
Annual skills checklist is required
