ICU RN

Overview

• Location: Long Beach, California
• Employment type: Per diem
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Shift length: 12 hours
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a staff ICU RN or 2 years as a travel ICU RN
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Epic experience
• 2 professional references, including at least 1 supervisor, from within the last 12 months

Work Setting

• ICU work in Neuro Intensive Care Unit and Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• Must be willing and comfortable floating to lower-acuity areas as needed, including MS, MS/Tele, Telemetry, and ED Holding

Orientation and Start Expectations

• No orientation will be provided
• Must be prepared to work independently and integrate quickly
• Pre-start modules: 8 hours

Additional Notes

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates with 2 or more attendance/performance issues or clinician pipeline cancellations may need additional references or a written statement before proceeding
• Previous staff/travel clinicians are subject to an 18-month separation period and require facility approval
