RN - ED/Trauma

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin Assignment Type: Clinical Nursing, Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, up to every other weekend

Role Overview

• Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
• Primarily adult patient population.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in nursing
• Licensure: Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License, or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC)
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), required within one year of hire
• Skills and Experience:

  • Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Charge/Triage experience
