Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (LTC) (Nights)

Location: Charlevoix, Michigan Employment Type: Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Michigan
• 2+ years of LPN / LVN experience, with experience within the last year
• 2+ years of Long Term Care (LTC) experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

• Michigan LTC fingerprinting already completed

Role Overview

• Works under the direction of the department manager/director, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader.
• Assists staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients according to established methods and procedures.
• Supports the patient and family experience and demonstrates understanding of patient- and family-centered care.

Attendance Policy

• A strict 3-strike attendance policy takes effect 6/1/2024.
• Being absent from a scheduled shift, or arriving more than 20 minutes late, 3 times results in termination effective immediately.
• Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization, with supporting evidence, are reviewed in the contractor's favor.
