Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Dededo, Guam
• 13-week assignment
• Acute care setting
• Adult Trauma II
• 132 staffed beds
• PCU level of care; described as a tele unit
• Ratios: 1:4-5

Schedule

• Travelers are scheduled primarily on one shift, day or night, but cannot request a shift preference
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required
• Block scheduling: TBD by unit needs
• On-call not required

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of specialty experience
• Compact or Guam licensure in hand at time of submittal
• ACLS
• BCLS
• Passport in hand
• First-timers not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of specialty experience

Float Scope

• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg and ED Tele overflow as needed
• If floated to ICU, the traveler will not care for patients outside their scope of practice

Additional Notes

• Travel partners accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Locals are not accepted
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO must be approved and included in the contract before start
• Travelers should be prepared to pick up additional shifts due to census
• Flights are not reimbursed
• Scrub color: Cath Lab/OR/PACU provided; all others any solid color, navy blue preferred
• Charting: Allscripts/Sunrise
• Parking is free
