Registered Nurse - ICU

Overview

• Location: Lakewood, California
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 to 19:30
• Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Hepatitis C titer (declination accepted if necessary)

Per Diem Only

• Arrhythmia Recognition Assessment (EKG exam, 80% passing score, 10 strip questions). Required for ICU, among other units.
• Medication/calculation exam, with a signed per diem acknowledgment
• Regular badge required
• POCT testing sheet (RNs only)
• Per diem job description, orientation modules, and Lakewood quick start/annual reorientation sign-off
• Onsite flu vaccines are available for per diem candidates this season.

Other Notes

• Universal masking applies on the grounds for candidates who are not fully vaccinated for COVID and do not have a current flu vaccination. Exempt candidates receive badge tags after start.
