Interim Critical Care Director

Location: South Charleston, West Virginia Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift: All

Role Overview

• Interim Critical Care Director overseeing the CVICU, ICU, and the future SICU

Required Qualifications

• BSN
• 2 to 5 years of nurse manager or director experience
• Experience (clinical or management) in the medical ICU and CVICU
• BLS (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

• MSN or MBA

Other Qualifications and Skills

• CCRN
• Knowledge of quality and patient outcomes, including CLABSIs, CAUTIs, VAP, and sepsis
• Experience leading quality improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of Joint Commission readiness and CMS standards
• Budget development, productivity management, and capital budget planning
• ICU flow optimization
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Integrating ICU care models across multiple ICUs
• Proven success leading cultural transformation
• Experience managing resistance across diverse teams
• Relationship and influence skills
