Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Atlanta, Georgia Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night (3p-3a), 36 hours per week Schedule: Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room (2 years of experience)
Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience within the last year
BLS
PALS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
IV insertion skills
Experience with Epic

Unit Information

Beds: 36
Ratio: 4:1
Ventilators: Hamilton T1
Common diagnoses: Sickle cell pain/fever, asthma, behavioral health, DKA, AGE, pediatric fever
Drips and medications: Insulin and sedation drips, resuscitation medications; all medications except chemo
Float scope: May be required to float to other campuses if needed
Facility policy: Nicotine-free facility
