X-Ray Technologist

Overview

• Job title: Radiology Technologist
• Location: Davenport, Iowa
• Shift: 08:30 - 17:00
• Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) and holidays, as needed
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
• Radiology Technologist experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, required for all direct patient care personnel
• ARRT certification

Submission Requirements

• Profile with resume, skills checklist completed within the past year, and 2 professional references

Licensure and Competency

• License/certificate verification dated within 30 days of start, with a machine-generated date
• Specialty-specific competency exam completed within the past year
• Joint Commission CORE exam completed within the past year
• Skills checklist (provided by the agency for clinical contractors)

Health and Immunizations

• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start, resulted before start with MRO signature. Panel includes cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetylmorphine, propoxyphene, PCP, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methaqualone, and methadone. THC is not included.
• Physical/health statement from an exam within the past year showing fitness to work
• Color vision test
• Fit test (3M 1860)
• TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA (QuantiFERON/T-SPOT) within the past year. A chest X-ray is accepted if positive within the past year.
• COVID-19 vaccine: proof of September 2025 booster, or a declination/exemption on agency letterhead. Declinations are not accepted in CA or IL.
• Influenza vaccine: proof, or a declination/exemption on agency letterhead, for the 10/1/2025–4/30/2026 season. Declinations are not accepted in CA or IL.
• MMR: proof of 2 vaccinations with dates, or a primary source IgG titer
• Varicella: proof of 1 vaccination with date, or a primary source IgG titer
• Hepatitis B: 3 doses, or a declination
• Tdap within the past 10 years. Declinations are accepted only where the site allows and the assignment does not require pediatric interaction.

Background and Compliance

• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, and county, last 7 years) with SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start. Check all addresses and AKA names.
• Sex offender registry (NSOPW) check dated within 30 days of start. Maryland counties are included in the state search. Michigan requires an additional statewide check.
• Education verification through a third-party screening report of highest completed education (or high school diploma/GED)
• EPLS and OIG exclusion checks dated within 30 days of start, with all aliases searched
• OFAC check completed within 30 days of start
• Iowa criminal history, sex offender, and dependent adult and child abuse registry check dated within 30 days prior to start
• Child and adult dependent abuse training (Iowa only)
