Schedule

• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off each week
• Hours: 10 per day, 40 per week
• Block schedule: Open to accommodating, at manager's discretion
• Time off: Request RTO up front if possible

Caseload and Call

• Daily caseload: 15
• On-call: 6 nights per month, 2 of which are weekends
• Weekend and holiday call: Traveler may be required to participate in the weekend and holiday call rotation. Nights, weekends, and holidays are otherwise covered by call.

Required Qualifications

• Pediatric MRI Technologist experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• MRI Technologist experience
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Contrast experience
• Experience with Epic
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Eligibility and Placement Rules

• First-timers: Accepted
• Local candidates: Not accepted; local radius rule is 70 miles
• Pending license: Accepted at manager's discretion
• Float within scope to meet facility needs: No
• Float to sister facilities: No

Onboarding and Equipment

• Fit testing: Completed onsite during the first week of orientation. The fit test record must be sent back to the agency within two weeks of start, or the candidate may be pulled from the assignment.
• Respirators: CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and the facility does not allow traveler-owned PAPRs or CAPRs.
• Facility modules: Must be completed by the compliance due date and are updated annually. Module time varies by unit, so start early.
• Post-start requirement: Orientation checklist, completed during orientation and returned within the first week
• Required before start: Confidentiality and security agreement, standards of ethical conduct and policies, and a badge photo (shoulders up, plain white or off-white background, JPEG format)
