Registered Nurse - Ortho

Location: Santa Rosa, California Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Assignment Details

• Unit: Ortho
• Facility: Acute care hospital, 277 total staffed beds
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours (7:00 to 19:30)
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Ratio: 1:5
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On-call: Not required
• Float: Will need to float between like units
• Block schedule: Open to accommodating, per manager discretion
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off once per two-week period
• Scrub color (RNs): Royal blue or navy blue
• Parking: Free
• Charting: Electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of orthopedics experience, completed within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation

Conditional Certifications

The following are listed as required only if the unit's requirements call for them: ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, IV certification, MAB, NIH Stroke, CPI, and EFM.
