Role Overview

Travel/Contract respiratory role in New Haven, Connecticut.
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Contract length: 13 weeks.
First-timers accepted.

Unit / Assignment Details

Based in a short term acute care Level I Trauma Center.
Must float between SRC and YSC campuses.
No self-scheduling or special scheduling accommodations.
Extended time off will not be approved.
Travelers are expected to clock in on the 8th Floor as early as 6:38 AM and report promptly at 6:45 for huddle.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience).
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience working with Trauma patients.
Experience working with Adult patients.
Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting.

Schedule

Every other weekend.
On-call not required.
Block scheduling not accommodated.

Charting: Epic.
Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Parking cost: $125/month.
