Overview

Travel/Contract role in Washington, District of Columbia
Weekend-only schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
36 guaranteed hours per week
Floating is allowed within scope, but not to sister facilities
No on-call
Cerner charting
Unit details: 323 inpatient beds, 70 NICU
Facility type: Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Teaching & Magnet Hospital

Required Qualifications

DC RRT License
RRT, BLS, and PALS certifications
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (1 year of experience)
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
No RTO approved
Must be available to work every weekend
Physical exam within 30 days of start, including latex allergy information
Fit test within 1 year of start, updated annually
Tdap vaccine within 10 years
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Rubeola, Mumps, and Rubella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B series and quantitative Hep B surface antibody titer
Varicella immunity documentation
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start, including marijuana
2 professional references dated within the past two years
