MS Tele RN Nights

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Orangeburg, South Carolina
• Acute care hospital
• 286 staffed beds
• 3x12 night shifts, 6:45p–7:15a
• 1:5 ratio
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope is required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted within a 60-mile radius
• Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed
• On-call is not required
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• MS/Tele, Telemetry, Telemetry on the unit experience
• Primary source verification of state license
• NURSYS verification for RN
• Education verification
• OFAC sanctions list search
• Background check covering all locations lived/worked for the past 7 years, including the listed searches
• References: proof of 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume
• Skills checklist for the applicable unit
• South Carolina state exclusion list
• Physical exam
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B documentation
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Color blind testing
• Competency exam
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• MUSC job description signed before start
• MUSC orientation modules before start
• Facility-specific first-day instructions and OurDay modules before start
• Photo for badge before start
• E-Verify attestation
• Work history verification for the last 3 clinical employers
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Annual background check
• Annual physical assessment if required by the role
• Respirator clearance for patient-facing travelers
• Radiation badge if required by the unit
