RN - Labor and Delivery
Overview
- Travel assignment in Austin, Texas
- 13-week contract
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Alternating weekends
- No call requirement
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a Level IV unit
- Previous assignment or employment with the same health system
Unit Details
- Labor and Delivery unit
- 32 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Typical procedures include SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
Work Environment
- Team-oriented, positive attitude preferred
- Navy blue scrubs required
- T-shirts are not acceptable; solid blue, black, or gray sweatshirts only
- Must adhere to attendance policy
