Location: Tucson, Arizona

Employment Type: Travel

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12 hours per week (36 hours/week). Will consider a 48-hour guarantee. Works 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Patient Ratio: 6:1

Role Overview

Float pool position. Must be willing to float between departments and across four facilities in the system.
The MS/Telemetry RN holds shift accountability for patient care using the Nursing Process, in line with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe care delivery.
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervises assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience of 2+ years, with recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with an electronic medical record system
