Location: Richmond, Virginia Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel

Unit Details

Unit: 2F Med Surg (Floor 2 Front, Main Hospital building)
Beds: 34 (max capacity of 43 patients)
Patient Ratio: 5:1
Equipment: Remote telemetry
Typical Procedures: General medical surgical floor; also a stroke and neuro designated unit

Staffing

Day Shift: 1 charge, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary (if at max capacity)
Night Shift: 1 charge, 8 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit secretary (if at max capacity)
Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters

Required Qualifications

LPN/LVN License
BLS certification
IV Therapy certificate
2 years of experience in the LPN/LVN specialty

Preferred Qualifications

NIH Stroke certification
ACLS
