Unit: Cardiac Cath/EP Labs
Unit size: 4 Cath Lab rooms total, including 2 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
RCIS or RCES or ARRT
ACLS
BLS
Complex PCI experience including Impella placement and management
Complex PCI experience including IABP placement and management
GE Mac Lab recording experience
Electrophysiology Technician experience

Preferred Qualifications

EP Lab experience, including EP device placement, EP ablations, and EP studies
Peripheral vascular intervention experience
Flexibility with scheduling
Ability to take extra call

Clinical Scope

Right/Left heart caths
PCI and Complex PCI
Diagnostic/Interventional peripherals
EKOS
PFO occluders
Nitric Oxide studies
Pacemaker/ICD implants
EP Ablations
Watchman implants
Interventional Radiology

Floating

Cath Lab

Call Requirements

Must be within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call requirements
On call Monday–Friday approximately 1–2 nights per week, from 1530–0700
On call 1 weekend per month, 24 hours Saturday and Sunday
