MRI Technician (MRI Technologist)

Overview

• Location: Ravenna, Ohio
• Employment type: Long-term assignment (LTA)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 13:00 - 23:30
• Schedule: Full time, 4 ten-hour shifts, evenings, plus call and weekends

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist experience of at least 1 year, with recent experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Valid driver's license

Onboarding Requirements

Health and immunizations

• MMR: Positive or immune titers from within the last 15 years. Childhood series not accepted. Low titers require boosters and a redraw.
• Varicella: Positive or immune titers from within the last 15 years. Childhood series not accepted. Low titers require boosters and a redraw.
• Hepatitis B: Positive titers within 15 years, proof of the full 3-dose adult series, or a signed declination on agency form.
• Tdap: Within the last 10 years. Adult vaccinations only. Declinations not accepted.
• Influenza vaccine: Proof required October through March. Declining requires a masking attestation and a declination form. Medical exemptions require a form and physician-signed letter.
• TB test: QuantiFERON, TSPOT, or 2-step PPD within the last 6 months, with negative results. Annual renewal. A positive result requires a clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire.
• Fit test: Completed within 1 year before start, with annual renewal. Must be completed before the compliance deadline. Candidates who fail or need a PAPR may request onsite PAPR testing if available in their unit.
• Physical/health statement: Pre-employment exam within 1 year of start, signed, stating the candidate can work without restrictions.
• Drug screen: 10-panel lab report run within 60 days of start. Instant screens not allowed.

Background and eligibility

• Criminal background check: Within 6 months of start. Covers the last 7 years of residence, work, and school. Includes an international check if the candidate has not lived in the U.S. for the past 5 years.
• Ohio fingerprints: Ohio BCI&I check and FCRA-compliant national database check for Ohio residents of 5+ years. Ohio residents under 5 years also need an FBI fingerprint check. Full results required, with pending results allowed only through an attestation and proof of appointment.
• OIG and SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC searches: Completed within 6 months before start. Run once at initial hire.
• I-9: Completed I-9 or attestation that one is on file.
• Driver's license or state ID: Non-expired photo ID, with address matching the candidate profile. Required for submission.

Education and employment verification

• Education: Highest level verified through a third-party vendor. International education requires an equivalency document from an accredited evaluator.
• Employment: Verification within the last 5 years through a third-party vendor. Prior travel assignments should be listed by agency on the resume.

Documentation and training

• Submission packet: Resume with work history and education, 2 professional references from the last 2 years, and the agency job application.
• Prior employment form: Confirms any previous W-2 employment. Travel assignments are excluded.
• Badge photo: Headshot with a plain background, uploaded as JPEG.
• Safety and compliance training: Modules completed before clearance, with certificate uploaded. Renewed annually.
