Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Employment Type: Travel/Contract Specialty: Registered Nurse (Operating Room) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 4x10 hours (7:00 to 17:30), 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Role Details
- Unit information: Core 3 & 4 (GEN, Plastic, GYN, ENT, trauma, Neuro and ortho, GU, Colorectal Robotics)
- Average daily census: 70-80
- Rooms: 21
- Facility type: Short-term acute care
- Scrub color provided
- Free parking
- Floats within scope to meet facility needs. OR RNs are expected to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV and Transplant.
- On-call: 6 call shifts in a 6-week period (can vary)
- Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Please provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting candidates
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- 1.5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
