• Burien, Washington
• 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Nights
• 36 hours per week

Unit Details

• MS/Tele Float Pool
• 34 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Common patient types include heart dysrhythmias, GI issues, dialysis, and general medical patients

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• Experience with dialysis patients
• Cardiac skills
• Tele experience

Preferred Qualifications

• PCU experience
• ICU experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Every other weekend
• Holidays required
• No call or standby
• Everyone floats to Tele units
• Primary assignment is St Anne Hospital, with floating throughout Region One if needed

Additional Notes

• Few drips are titrated, including low-dose dopamine
• Nurse aides are present, with 10-12 patients per aide
• Charge nurse/house supervisor is available
• Unit orientation is 1-2 days
• Professional colors are allowed
• Clinical profile review is required before interview
• EPIC is used on the unit
