Role Summary

• RN providing direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination.

Required Qualifications

• RN license

Job Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments.
• Identify patient risk factors and prioritize patient needs.
• Collect and verify patient health information as needed.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and interventions.
• Explain procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families.
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document responses to care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members.
• Support discharge planning and teaching.
• Participate in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts.
