Step Down

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Dayton, Ohio
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Targeted patient ratio: 1:4, with ratios up to 1:5–6
• Must be available to work every other holiday and every other weekend
• For the 48-hour contract, overtime is paid after 48 hours

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Stepdown (1 year of experience)
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with stable chronic ventilators
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• IV Start
• Some level 1 or 2 experience
• Travel experience

Floating

• First to float at discretion
• May float in and out of specialty clusters
• If assigned to MVH, floating may include the main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood)

Additional Notes

• RTO must be requested with initial submittal; no RTO will be added after offer
• RTO approval is at manager discretion
• The assignment may be canceled for 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
• The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine
