Overview

Role: CVOR Tech
Employment type: Travel
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, rotating days and weekends
On-call: Call requirement varies depending on whether the candidate has vein harvesting skills

Unit Information

Unit: Operating Room
Beds/rooms: 23 OR suites (4 dedicated CV OR)
Staff: 125+
Typical day shift staffing: 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters
Floating area: Main OR

Typical Procedures

Cardiac: CABG, AVR, MVR, pericardial window, aortic dissections, congenital pediatric cases, etc.
Vascular: Femoral-popliteal, AAA, AV fistula, etc.

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
CST FA
RN FA
OR First Assist Certification
Experience working with Vascular patients
Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Must be able to perform endoscopic vein harvesting
CVOR First Assist experience

Additional Details

Personality fit: Confident in skills and knowledge
Dress code: Ceil Blue scrubs, provided on the unit
