Respiratory Therapy (RRT)

Overview

• Location: Evansville, Indiana
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. Hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation. During holidays when the unit is closed, set hours are not guaranteed.
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• On Call/Call Back: N/A
• Float Requirement: Will float to inpatient units and facilities
• Candidate Restriction: 40-mile radius rule. No local candidates.

Facility and Unit

• Setting: Approx. 280-bed acute care hospital with medical/surgical units, ICU, and stepdown units

Required Qualifications

• Certifications (attached upon submittal): AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, Indiana License, NBRC certification
• Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in the specialty
• Required Skillset: Medical/surgical respiratory therapy, ICU respiratory therapy, stepdown respiratory therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial blood gases

Preferred Qualifications

• Charting: Electronic charting experience (highly preferred)
