- Location: Los Angeles, California
- Employment type: Per diem
- Shift: Day, 12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Parking: $15
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
- EPIC experience
- Must be willing to float
- Must be within 50 miles or 1 hour commute
- Returning clinicians who previously worked for this health system must provide a supervisor reference confirming rehire eligibility
- Two direct supervisor references from ICU work within the last 2 years; one reference must be submitted at time of application
- Must complete a pass/fail dysrhythmia competency process
- Must complete a pass/fail medication/pharmacology competency process
- Must complete a harassment prevention training certificate
- Must complete a fire card for Los Angeles
- Must complete a management of assaultive behavior course or CPI course with an in-person component
- Must complete a skills checklist
- Must provide a government-issued photo ID
- Must provide an emergency contact form
- Must provide an employment application or resume
- Must provide 7 years of work history with gaps included
- Must provide a physical exam within 1 year of start
- Must provide a negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Must provide a drug screen within 30 days of start
- Must provide COVID vaccination or declination during flu season
- Must provide flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Must provide Tdap within 10 years or declination
- Must provide proof of immunity or vaccination status for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
- Must provide a TB questionnaire
- Must provide a background check
- Must provide education verification
- Must provide EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG screening
- Must provide a state license verification
- Must provide a badge photo
- Must complete facility orientation and required online training before start
Additional Notes
- COVID vaccine declinations are accepted
- Scrubs: Royal blue
- Per diem clinicians are expected to complete required computer-based training on their own time before start
