Registered Nurse, Infusion

Location: West Hollywood, California Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Schedule

Shift: Day, 3x12 hours (9:00 to 21:30)
Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
Weekend shifts: Required
Floating: Required
On-call: Not required
Scheduling requests: Cannot be accommodated
Housing: Available for travelers (at additional cost)

Required Qualifications

Valid, active California RN license at the time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
2 years of infusion experience, with infusion experience within the last year
2 years of experience, including oncology (ONC) experience
One completed travel assignment (first-time travelers not accepted)
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
ONS/ONCC certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic

Onboarding Requirements

Background check: 7-year criminal background check completed within 6 months of start and updated annually; education verification of the highest level completed
Drug screen: 10-panel (DS) drug test within 1 year of start; marijuana/THC should not be included in the panel
TB: PPD, QuantiFERON (Qgold), or T-SPOT within 1 year of start
Immunizations: Measles, mumps, and rubella (2 MMR doses or positive titer); varicella (2 doses or positive titer); hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
Physical exam: Within 1 year of start, confirming the ability to perform essential job functions
Fit test: N95 mask fit test within 1 year, updated annually
References: 2 professional references, at least 1 supervisory
Assessments: Medication test during orientation (not pass/fail); online EKG competency assessment with a passing score of 80% (up to 2 attempts) for some units, including PACU, ICU, CCU, and PCU
Immunization acknowledgment and employment application: Required before start
