Location: Gardnerville, Nevada Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Employment type: Travel/Contract Start date: ASAP Contract length: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 hours, 10:00-20:00 (Friday-Monday). The additional info also lists a shift of 6:00-16:30 (day, 4x10 hours). Hours: 40 per week

Role Details

• Daily caseload per tech: 1 CT, 2 portables, 1 x-ray room
• Patient volume: Average of 15 patients a day across both modalities
• Scope: Traumas and general CT. No CTA hearts or brain perfusion.
• Float scope: Will float within scope to meet facility needs. Position requires both CT and general x-ray.
• Floating to sister facilities: Not required
• On-call: Not required, but note if willing
• Weekend: To be determined by unit's needs
• Block schedule: To be determined based on unit's needs

Guaranteed Hours

• 8-hour rule: 40 hours per week, with up to 24 hours of call-offs over the 13-week assignment
• 10-hour rule: 40 hours per week, with up to 30 hours of call-offs over the 13-week assignment
• 12-hour rule: 36 hours per week, with up to 36 hours of call-offs over the 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Nevada
• CT Technologist experience of at least 1 year
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ARRT certification
• CT Advanced Certification
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience working with Adolescent patients
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
• Experience working with Trauma patients

Onboarding and Compliance

• Background check, updated annually, including 7-year county, nationwide, and sex offender searches. International searches are required if the candidate has only worked abroad.
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Government-issued photo ID
• Physical exam within 12 months of start (Nevada state mandate, not waivable)
• Negative TB test (PPD, QuantiFERON Gold, or T-SPOT) within 12 months of start, or 2 PPDs, with annual TB questionnaire (Nevada state mandate). A past positive requires a clear chest X-ray.
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (facility requires 7-panel screen)
• N95 fit test within a year, updated annually
• Tdap vaccination or signed declination
• Flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season (10/1-3/31). Candidates who decline must wear a mask.
• COVID initial vaccine series or medical/religious exemption
• Immunity documentation for rubeola, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B (titer, vaccine, or declination, per policy)
• Two professional references (travel, allied, and per diem acute care)
• Employment application and resume
• Confidentiality agreement, signed immediately upon receipt
