Radiologic Technologist (Allied)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Role name in source: Radiology Technologist (RAD TECH) Contract length: 13 weeks Schedule: 40 hours/week, rotating shifts

Overview

Float position: may float to other sites if needed, but not to more than one site per day.
Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours depending on coverage needs. Candidates must be agreeable to all shifts.
Weekend availability is required.
On-call is not required, but it is available.
Schedule is posted 4 weeks in advance.
Accepts local candidates within 50 miles.
Patient population: all age groups.

Duties and Scope

Diagnostic X-ray imaging across inpatient, outpatient, orthopedics, OR (C-arm and fluoroscopy), and portable exams.
Familiarity with the OR.
Adaptable to various vendors' X-ray equipment.
Flexibility is a key expectation.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License
