Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• CVOR experience within the last year
• 1 year of CVOR experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• ACLS

Clinical Setting

• Cardiovascular surgery operating room
• 10 OR suites and 1 cysto suite
• Typical cases include CABG, mitral valve replacements, femoral bypass, and thrombectomy

Key Skills

• Ability to scrub cardiovascular surgery procedures
• Ability to scrub general procedures and other cases

Preferred Skills

• CV scrub skills
• Ortho scrub skills
• Robotic surgery scrub skills

Schedule Expectations

• May help with on-call coverage 1–2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
• Rare floating may be needed to an ambulatory surgery center across the street

Work Environment

• Team-oriented setting with a strong attitude and willingness to collaborate
• Scrubs are blue and provided by the facility
