Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Saratoga Springs, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36
• Floating: Must be willing to float as needed based on manager discretion and skillset

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• Triage experience
• Level 1 trauma experience

Additional Job Details

• Facility may call off up to 3 times per contract
• Minimal requested time off: 7 days or less
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Flu vaccination is required by November 1
• Medical or religious exemptions may be considered if submitted at least 2 weeks before start
• Candidate must be willing to comply with required pre-start testing and onboarding items, including drug screening, physical, fit testing, TB screening, and immunization/documentation requirements
