CRT / RRT: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Location: New Haven, Connecticut Employment type: Travel/Contract Contract length: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week). Listed as 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in the shift field, and 6:45 PM to 7:30 AM in the description. Clock-in and report: Travelers clock in on the 8th Floor as early as 6:38 AM and report by 6:45 AM for huddle.

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Weekends: every other weekend required
• On-call: not required
• Open to block schedule: No
• Extended time off will not be approved.
• Self-scheduling and special scheduling accommodations are not permitted. Schedules are assigned based on unit staffing needs.
• Float scope: Must float between two campuses about one block apart. They share a parking lot, and a shuttle is available for travelers.
• Accepts first-time travelers: Yes
• Final, accurate RTO must be confirmed before submission. Any RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
• Respiratory Therapist, with 2 years of experience
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Trauma patients
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in a Critical Care setting
