Registered Nurse - Critical Care (CCU Float)

Location: Trenton, New Jersey Contract Length: 8 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Role Details

Critical Care Float Pool
Float between two campuses, and may float to MST if needed
Every other weekend and every other holiday
Scrub color: navy blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey (NJ/Compact nursing license required at time of submission)
2 years of Critical Care Float experience, including experience within the last year
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
ACLS certification
BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Pre-Start Requirements

Background check and drug screen
Educational verification and license verification
Hep B, MMR, and varicella immunizations
TB screening
Physical exam
Competency exam, IV exam, and Dysrhythmia Basic A competency exam
Skills checklist and medication test
Core mandatory annual training
Resume and references
I-9 attestation/E-Verify
Sanction and sex offender registry checks (NSOPR, OIG, SAM)
Floating and schedule acknowledgement and code of ethics acknowledgement
