RN Step Down

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin Employment Type: Long-term assignment (LTA) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)

Role Details

Traveler is placed on a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on greatest need and the traveler's skills.
Accepts Med/Surg or Stepdown RNs. Both skills use the same credentialing.
Must float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Stepdown experience (2 years)
Stepdown experience within the last year
Med Surg / Telemetry experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
NIHSS certification
Driver's license

Optional Items

BLS and ACLS (optional for submission)
License/certificate verification (optional for submission)
Unit-specific checklist, uploaded by the unit leader within 1 week of onboarding
Positive PPD, negative chest X-ray, and annual TB questionnaire
Legal documentation of name change
