Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift)

Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30), 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week Unit: Telemetry

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active Pennsylvania RN license
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, completed within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid driver's license

Pre-Start Requirements

• Complete the following before start: the facility's online orientation and learning modules (post-test included), orientation checklist, pandemic attestation, code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, and assessment of patient policy (100% quiz score required to accept).
• RNs and LVN/LPNs must complete the interdisciplinary plans of care, skin integrity, mobility, and catheter training modules before start (100% quiz score required to accept).
• Review the cardiac procedure education binder before start (required for Telemetry units).
• Print and bring the competency assessment to orientation. It must be submitted to the unit leader upon completion.
• Facility-specific forms: disclosure statement, exclusion information form, signed staffing agency job description, and a passport-style badge photo (JPEG, solid light background, not white).
• Crisis prevention training is completed onsite through modules during orientation. No outside certificate is needed.
• Religious COVID exemptions require a signed form and a formal letter from the religious official. Medical COVID exemptions require physician signature.
