Location: New Haven, Connecticut Specialty: Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel/Contract Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule and Assignment

Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00 to 07:00)
Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
Guaranteed hours: Yes
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Patient ratio: Average 1:3
On-call: Not required
Block schedule: Not accepted
Float: May float within scope to meet facility needs
RTO: Time off beyond 7 days requires approval

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Stepdown (2 years of experience)
Stepdown experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Travel experience (strongly preferred, not required)
Tdap vaccination within 10 years (highly preferred, not required; a declination is acceptable, but TD is not)
COVID vaccine series, if the candidate has received it

Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
NIH Stroke certification
